Get ready for the first event of the fall! I'll be at the Prospective Press table at Hickory Comic Con at the Hickory Metro Convention Center on Saturday, September 21st, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is only $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and it's a pretty great one-day event. The costume contest starts at 1 pm!
Also, I just found out that I will be a guest next year at AtomaCon (North Charleston, SC). I have attended a couple times, but this will be my first year as a guest, unless you count that one time I was voluntold to help out with the witches in media panel a few years ago. That isn't until May 3-4 of 2025, so if you're interested, you have plenty of time to plan. It'll be in a new building next year, which is good news for those of us who hated the location this year (e.g., me). Reportedly, the new place is much more spacious, with not nearly so many stairs. Yay!
